Fruity Hair Treatment

This fresh fruit treatment is good for treating hair that has been damaged by excessive blow drying. It's also helpful to eliminate dandruff.

Ingredients:

juice of 2 oranges

flesh from 1/2 peeled apple

1/2 banana

1 tablespoon fresh thyme

Blending Procedure:

1.) Blend all ingredients together in a food processor or blender until a juice is formed. Bits of fruit will be visible throughout.

2.) Massage generously onto damp hair and scalp. Leave on for 20 minutes. You can wrap hair in a hot towel during this time to help penetration.

3.) Rinse out and wash and condition hair using a gentle shampoo and conditioner. If little pieces of fruit are visible in your hair afterward, use a fine comb to remove. Style hair as usual.

well for hair, trim it and massage ur scalp with olive oil to get the blood circulation going in ur head this will help it grow, and for face to make my face nice and soft i like to use a homemade facial scrub mix 1 big spoon of thick honey some sugar and a little water scrub the face then with warm water rince and ur face will feel fresh, another way to help acne is steam ur face with water in a pot and while steaming rub half a tomatoe on ur face in circular motions, it whitens the skin, refreshens it, smooths it, and i noticed my light acne goes away the next day my face looks amazing i like to use this at night

~Hair Treatments~

For normal hair

4 tbsp. olive oil

4 tbsp. wheat germ oil

2 tsp. cocoa butter

1 tbsp. dried lavender flowers

1 tbsp. dried nettle leaves

1 tbsp. raw apple-cider vinegar

1 egg yolk (at room temperature)

5 drops lemon essential oil

The components found in nettle leaves and lavender flowers help strengthen and condition damaged hair. The essential oil squeezed from the lemon peel stimulates circulation, conditions the surface of the hair and adds a refreshing scent.

Can't say these are home-made, but... for your hair try coconut milk (available at any grocery stores in the aisle where you get the Mexican/Asian stuff). Once-a-week, apply and leave it on your hair for about 30 minutes and then shampoo as usual. Facial mask? I like mashed avocado - it moisturizes my skin big time! To exfoliate my legs/feet, I combine brown sugar, mineral oil and my shower gel (Olay); scrubby dub dub and voila!!!
You can check the source for different recipes for hair or face, it has almost everything. Just pick something which suits you the best!

The process for glowing skin is as follows:

1) Take a kg of each of bael tree leaves, black plum leaves and betal leaves. Clean them properly and boil them in water that is twice the volume till there is a thick liquid.

2) Beat 8-10 cloves and then add about 25 lemon peels dried in the sun, acacia sinnata, 2 tbsps of tur daal and a pod of an inch of turmeric. Make a fine powder of all these ingredients.

3) Make sandalwood paste by grinding it on the grinding stone and adding very small quantity of water.

4) Mix the powder and sandalwood paste properly and add to the cold liquid.
