Share your best beauty home remedies, recipes, secrets...?

for skin, hair, nails, etc.

I have a few- spray a mix of one part apple cider vinegar, one part water. Leave on for five minutes and rinse well. This is a good clarifying treatment because it removes all the built-up hair product. Do it once a week.

Make a paste of baking soda and water, and lightly exfoliate your face with that. You could also use that paste to whiten your teeth a bit.Share your best beauty home remedies, recipes, secrets...?
mix 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda into your shampoo to remove residue from styling products and build up

use 4 aspirin and 1 tablespoon of yogurt and 1 teaspoon of honey for an acne face mask. It works wonders, makes skin look so clear and smooth! It is the only thing that has worked for me way better than proactive, murad or any other acne regimen (they can be too drying and irrating esp for sensitive skin) only do once or twice a week and make sure your not allergic to aspirin or dairy before you use it.

aloe for sunburns or mild burns use the real plant it works better than the bottle gel.

Use lemon juice for removing stains from fingers and nails

cucumber slices for puffy or tired eyes

Egg yolk mask can be used to replenish and tighten skin. Just beat one egg yolk and apply to skin with cotton ball. Rinse your skin after 15 minutes.

Mix 1/2 cup warm water with 1/4 teaspoon salt. Using a cotton ball, apply directly to blemish. Maintain pressure with cotton ball for several minutes, to soften blemish. Using a cotton swab, dab honey on blemish; leave on 10 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.Share your best beauty home remedies, recipes, secrets...?
take an egg, wisk it until it's kinda foamy lookin, put it on your face, let it dry, then wash off. it sucks out all the inpurities. i wake up the next day with clearer skin.

take nutmeg, mix with very very very small bit of milk, cook, don't let it burn, you can also add some crushed up aspirin in it too, and then put it on problem zits and sleep with it on your zits and take off in the morning and zits are either gone, (depending on the size, redness reduced, or almost gone!

mix lemon juice, vinegar, and baking sode(it will foam up some) and put it in your hair either all over or in streaks, then either go sit out in sun or blow dry on hot and bleaches har, sun works better than blowdrying, then wash out and condition!
Crush a handful of strawberries and mix well w/ honey(just a squeeze). Apply to face and let set for about 15 minutes %26amp; wash off. I do this once a week it cleanses %26amp; moisturizes
For the removal of make up, I use baby wipes, you can buy them in bulk and they are cheaper than face wipes and they do the job just great, even on water proof mascara, and use with a light moisturiser after and your skin feels really good i must say.
For combination or sensitive skin:

Apply a thin layer of plain milk of magnesia, let it dry for 15-20 minutes, rinse off w/ cool water %26amp; a clean wash cloth. Plain milk of magnesia will absorb excess oil %26amp; temporarily tighten pores.

Jojoba oil is an excellent leave in hair conditioner %26amp; nail oil. It's non-comedogenic %26amp; washes out easily.
you seem like you are into the naturals so i will give you this link and you can experiment with the ideas here

How To Make Beauty Masks - Facials - Peels - Hair Wrap
Use regular over the counter 3% peroxide after brushing your teeth. Actually whitens better than the strips I believe. Less expensive too! About a capful, and let bubble while you apply your make-up.
take about four aspirin and dissolve them in a few drops of water.. add in a squirt of honey and make it into a paste.. you can also add in a few vitamin e capsules if ya like.. this can be used as a scrub, mask if left on for ten minutes, and a spot treatment left on over night.. it works like pro active.. i've used both and got the same result with each which is clear skin..

another thing i do as an exfoliate is i scrub my face with an electric toothbrush.. it's sounds kinda weird but it works.. it really cleans out your pores and removes dead skin, oil and dirt.. you can use any scrub ya like or the aspirin i mentioned.. i like to use st. ives.. and i do it about three times a week..

oh and put vaseline on your feet with a sock on overnight.. it'll take away all the roughness from being on your feet constantly..
For bee stings......take the tobacco out of a cigarette and spit in it Make a paste and put it on the sting. It's GROSS but it will take the sting out immediately.

For people who work with fire (like welders)....when you get your eyes burnt, grate potatoes and put them in a cheese cloth or old T-shirt and lay them across your eyes. It will take the burn out.

Put Clorox on poison ivy or oak. Burns like crazy but it will dry up.
dab bath oil on whole body right after shower;

it'll keep skin baby soft for years;

i should know. :-)
